MEET THE FOUNDERS

  • Alberto Milani is the co-founder of Piazza Italia Market, the ultimate destination in midtown New York City created to assist Italian companies in finding housing as well as facilitating the growth of their business and brand awareness in North America.

    Alberto's commitment to fostering economic growth and strengthening commercial ties between Italy and the United States is further demonstrated by his role as the President of the Italy America Chamber of Commerce of New York. In this capacity, he also coordinates the efforts of numerous chambers of commerce across North America and Mexico. Partnering with best-in-class companies,

    Alberto is a worldwide technology enabler and provides innovative brand strategies that explore customized and individual buying habits. His visionary approach, seen through his jewelry and lifestyle luxury brand, Alberto Milani "A Love Affair With Italy," has been recognized by market leaders and the international press.

    Before embracing entrepreneurship, he’s held prominent positions at companies such as Procter & Gamble, Sector Sports Watches, Bulgari, Buccellati, and Richline Group, a Berkshire and Hathaway Company. Alberto defines mission and corporate positioning by taking an innovative approach in all facets of the marketing mix — a true benchmark for the next generation of marketers.

  • Dennis Ulrich is the co-founder of Piazza Italia, the destination for Italian excellence in New York. Ulrich was the founder and owner of Beloro, a jewelry company that became the largest importer of Italian gold jewelry to the Americas.

    In 2007, he sold his business to Warren Buffet and became the CEO of the Richline Group, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. Throughout his tenure, he grew the business to be the foremost precious metals and materials manufacturer and marketer in the world.

    Ulrich retired in 2018 but was intrigued by the scope and vision for Piazza Italia and partnered with Alberto Milani to build a new business together to transform the North American market through the introduction of Italian brands that offer excellence in design and craftsmanship.
